Tour 2009 departure in Monaco!

A fifteen kilometre time trial partly along the curves of the most famous circuit in the world of Formula 1.

This 1st stage will be a beautiful and spectacular sporting event in an ideal plot, the sea and nature of the Mediterranean.

Declaration of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco:
"I am particularly pleased to announce the start of the Tour 2009 in Monaco. The Principality had the pleasure in the past to see the Tour in 1964. Forty-five years later, we have the privilege to host the start of this unique adventure."

Tour 2009 Program

• Thursday 02 July: Presentation of the teams of the Tour 2009
• Saturday 04 July: Departure and the arrival of the first step at the “Port Hercule”
• Sunday 05 July: Official ceremony and start of the second step.
